Taste: The primary taste is exceptionally velvety and round, the tannins are silky and powerful, the aftertaste is very long and complex with dark berries, cocoa, truffles, minerality and toast. The wine has aged in French oak barrels for 20 months.

Smell: very rich and versatile with clearly perceptible aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, blackcurrant and wild berries, followed by delicate notes of liquorice, truffle, balsamic vinegar and spices (nutmeg, cedar and black pepper) balanced perfectly with the overall toasty character of the wine.

Description: A full-bodied red wine with an exceptionally velvety and rounded primary taste. The tannins are silky and powerful. Dark berries, cocoa, truffles, minerality and roast can be felt in the long and complex aftertaste. The rich and multi-faceted aroma clearly shows aromas of red currant, raspberry, black currant and field berries. Followed by delicate licorice, truffle, balsamic vinegar and spices notes that are perfectly balanced generally with a toasty character. Made from 100% Tinta de Toro grapes. The wine is aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
